The Camadevi book

A print-ready illustrated book — researched, written, illustrated and typeset by the fleet.

AI-reconstructed portrait of Queen Camadevi in front of a Hariphunchai-era stupa
One of the book’s AI-reconstructed artworks: Queen Camadevi of Hariphunchai.

What it is

An illustrated book about Queen Camadevi, the legendary 7th-century founding queen of Hariphunchai (today’s Lamphun, Thailand): her story, the history around it, and a series of original artistic reconstructions — laid out as a magazine-grade, print-ready edition.

What The Beast did

The whole production: historical research, the writing, more than twenty AI-generated artistic reconstructions (upscaled to print resolution), and the full book layout — cover to final PDF.

How long it took

First complete draft in a day (July 22, 2026). Print-ready edition the next day. About two days end to end, across several revision rounds.

Produced for a private print edition, so there’s no public link — the artwork above is from the book. The images are clearly labelled artistic reconstructions, not historical photographs.
